     The Mental Health Association in Jefferson County, Inc., is a private not for profit organization designed to promote mental health through community education and direct services to mental health consumers and their families.  This is done by providing opportunities for mental health consumers to become active participants in their own recovery and independence.  The improvement of care and treatment of persons with mental illness with services may include some of the following:  advocacy, vocational development, socialization, personal growth, community education and the legislative process

The Warm Line provides individuals throughout Jefferson County a friendly phone call as often as needed to share, chat, get information or make a friend.  Anyone can use the service.
